Generation X

Well, what to say. The Generation X is far advanced in being comfortable with various gadgets, technology, blah, blah.
When my younger son was born, within a week, he would follow objects, human. Previously, this would happen after couple of weeks. Thats when it struck me that the super advanced Generation X is here.
Kids of today have access to computer, mobile, tablet, iPod, etc. Something missed by my generation. It's also a status symbol for parents to show off their kids comfort with gadgets. And why not? that is an encouragement for kids to get their hands on and get an expertise. For example, Raghav Sood, a young lad of 15 has developed 12 apps for Android, knows quite a few programming languages, and is currently writing a book on Android programming.
The other from the lot are Shravan & Sanjay.
These kids surely motivate adults as well. So, all the best Generation X.

I hope I could write often....

Yeah, I hope I do get to write regularly.......

Passion....

What’s passion?? You all would surely know, so I do not have to share the meaning.

But, if I ask "How passionate are you about your job?"

Now, answer truthfully. And, if you are really passionate, you would feel the difference in all aspects of what you do. You would want to do better, always. Implement Kaizen..yeah..I know, I am always saying that to some.

When you are into doing something, you should want to come closer to perfection, feel satisfied, and there should be something makes you feel you have made an achievement.

We all get up in the morning, do the usual, go to work, return home, eat, sleep, and this continues. So, where are you heading, towards something or nothing?

What is your something?? Have you thought about it, some of us may need to really sit down and think?

I did, and have been doing quite regularly.

I want to be passionate in all I do, yes. And, it’s the catalyst that works wonders in all aspect of life.

Can a mother look after her child if she is not passionate?

Can a lover be in love with someone special without passion?

Can a player become a champion without passion?

Then, how can a person be good at what they are doing to earn their living without passion :)

Thinking...........good, now you can read further....

I always noticed people doing their job with passion, and there is one person I would like to talk about specifically. This person, works as a gardener in an office. He travels by bus to work and is always on time. As soon as he arrives, he wears his uniform, and he gets down to his business of watering the plants, cleaning the surrounding of fallen leaves, paint the pots, digs the mud in the pot, puts manure, and all other things that needs to be done.

Of all that he does, something I really remember. Be it summer, winter, rain, he will clean each every leaf of all the plants that are there, this he does with so much passion and love, even though, no one is supervising him. There is so much commitment, which cannot be expressed in words.

He tends to the plants as if they are his children :)

There are so many others who we may have failed to notice. Also, failed to notice and learn.

So, friends, let be passionate in all that we do :)

Technology is like heart beat!!

Yes, its with everyone in some form, and everywhere....omnipresent!! I too have not remained unaffected...Now, I have got another gadget, my netbook, and that's an addition to my existing collection of iPod, BB, Mobile, laptop....phew!!
This is definitely a lot of things that I would have imagined 10 years ago.
Internet on mobile, broadband, USB, wi-fi....that's the life line.
So, whats the future holding for us...something out-of-this-world!! We need to control our self and not get drowned in this tsunami of technology.

God's Thought For Me

You've got to live life, not think about it. Step into the midst of things, try and fail and learn and stand up again. The question is not whether you will or will not make mistakes - you will. The question is do you want to learn and grow, or do you want to shrink back and be stuck? Take that step you've been avoiding. You can succeed, or you can get feedback that it didn't work, but in either case you are sure to feel alive.

My first article: Motivation

Yesterday, I got a chance to attend my first seminar with a motivational speaker "Prakash". It was a superb session of 3 hours..and I did not even realize how time went by...Using his excellent communication skills he really motivated me, to be a motivational speaker. I am planning to create a program that I may use in my organization. He spoke about very simple day to day incidents and made us feel so connected in his conversations. All he said and reiterated is: Live each moment as you get this life only once. There are a lot of things around us, all the personal things, people and so on, we just take them for granted. You dont have money, dont worry, you will have loads of it soon. You don't have love around you, you need to worry, as you may me blind towards it. Wake up!! Live!! Smile!! be happy!! I have started working on this right away...just got to control my temper :-)
